After working as a Professional Organizer for the past 6 years, I’ve come across some unique products promised to make any cluttered area an organized success. While some organizing products were more effective than others, there’ve been a few items I’ve been introduced to that really do aid in creating a more productive work environment. Below, I’ve pulled together four of my favorite office organizing products, that I hope will help you get your office – and keep your office – more organized!
Divide It Up Folder – This isn’t your standard letter size folder. It contains three slots so the contents may be divided up by sub-category for quick and easy retrieval. This helps organize paperwork in no time and is a great tool not just for your office, but can help keep your paperwork at home organized.
NeatReceipts – Think you need an assistant to help keep your paperwork organized and easily accessible from your computer? Not anymore! Thanks to this portable scanner and digital filing system, all of your papers can be organized in the simplest way… This device extracts key information from receipts, business cards and documents, and makes them keyword searchable and exports the info into Excel, Quicken, QuickBooks and TurboTax; it basically eliminates the need to keep every little scrap of paper. Think of how organized your office would be without all those receipts scattered on your desk!
Post-It Full Adhesive Notes – These new and improved sticky notes from Post-It feature an entire adhesive back over the full 3” x 3” note – ensuring maximum stick to just about anything. These notes also have rounded notes, so they may be easily removed and affixed to a new surface, giving the notes a longer lifespan.
Arc Customizable Notebooks – These notebooks are an ideal solution for those people with a preference for paper who prefer to have a notebook handy at all times. These can be completely customized – from the size and layout to the addition, removal, and re-arrangement of pages and dividers, as needed.
What do you think? Have you tried out any of these products in your own office – or are there others that you credit with keeping you organized?
