Tell us about your product or service.
Life Support Cares assists low income families and individuals with nonperishable foods, clothing, household and hygiene products. In the Forrest, Lamar, and Perry County Mississippi area.

What inspired you to launch your business?
While working for a local mental healthcare facility, we realized majority of the families we counseled needed assistance with basic necessities such as food and clothing. We attempted to obtain assistance for these families via community outreach programs. Observing the look of relief displayed on the families faces when they received the assistance inspired us to do more outside of counseling which led to the birth of Life Support Cares.

What problem does your business or organization solve?
We provide families with items they are unable to obtain due to financial hardship. This temporary assistance sustains families until they are able to regain financial stability.

What has been your biggest challenge and how are you working to overcome it?
The biggest challenge has been lack of funding. We have conducted fundraisers, reached out to banks and other organizations for donations, and utilized our own personal funding.

Give us one word that people might use to describe you.
