Startup Stories: Doodle Video Animations

Doodle Video Animations

Tell us about your entrepreneurial product or service.
I create 60 second Doodle Video Animations that can be used to tell a story, describe a product or service or answer frequently asked questions. The video can then be used on your website and shared on social media sites such as Youtube, Vimeo, Twitter and Facebook.

What inspired you to launch your business idea?
After raising two beautiful daughters I found myself in the position of having to support myself after twenty years of being a Mom. Creating Doodle Whiteboard videos lets me combine my creativity with helping others find a way to promote their website and improve their business too.

What problem does your business or organization solve?
The number of videos being watched every day is increasing minute by minute – unfortunately some businesses do not lend themselves to promotion by video. By using a Doodle Animation you can produce a video that is only limited by your imagination. Use images, photographs or graphics, text, numbers or statistics combined with a voice over and music. You will have a video that will entertain and inform your viewers turning them into loyal customers who return time and time again and share your website with all their friends and family.

What has been your biggest challenge as an entrepreneur and how are you working to overcome it?
I think women find it harder to be selfish and take the time and resources that they need to put into creating and building a business. As a Mom I tend to put others first and now I am finding it hard to take the time to put into my business. What is helping is that this HAS to happen for me – there is no alternative!

Give us one word that people might use to describe you.
Determined!

How has Project Eve helped you and/or your business?
I love it when women support each other and the Work-Life balance is my favorite area as this is the area that I need help in.

Give us an insider tip that relates to your industry or startup story.
Let your imagination run riot – think outside the box – something really different will capture your audience and get spread on social media like wild fire!
