Tell us about your entrepreneurial product or service.
3103 Communications provides seminars and workshops for parents that are aimed at increasing their knowledge, skills and confidence in the area of social media and online safety.

What inspired you to launch your business idea?
I was inspired after talking to numerous parents who all seemed the share the same concerns and uncertainty around social media, and realising that I had the knowledge and skills required to help them.

What problem does your business or organization solve?
My business solves the problem of parents not understanding what social media is, what their children are doing online and how to minimise the risks associated with their children using various apps and sites on a daily basis.

What has been your biggest challenge as an entrepreneur and how are you working to overcome it?
The biggest challenge is getting the word out to the parents of Perth that my company exists! I am working to overcome this through increased advertising, and hoping that word of mouth will do a lot of the work for me in the future.

Give us one word that people might use to describe you.
Enthusiastic!

How has Project Eve helped you and/or your business?
Project Eve has given me a platform to share my business, my stories and my knowledge with others.

Give us an insider tip that relates to your industry or startup story.
The #1 best thing parents can do in regards to online safety is to educate themselves!! Whether that is Googling, attending a seminar like mine or asking their kids to show them how Facebook works… the more parents can understand social media, the better position they will be in to guide their children's online actions.
