As parents, we all know education is a number one priority. From the moment they learn to read and write, we are always looking to help our children’s minds grow. As they get older and begin thinking about college life and beyond, a good foundation is even more important. For parents that means making sure your child has all the resources possible to succeed later in life. That also means making sure they are attending a good high school and learning life skills. Among the many standout school one stands out because of its Girls Leadership Project.

The Girls’ Leadership Project at Miss Hall’s Miss Hall’s School, located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is one of the first all-girls boarding schools in New England. While students can take a wide variety of courses in areas like English, Math, and Science, the school offers much more because of  The Girls Leadership Project . This is a program aimed at helping girls become powerful leaders. It teaches them the skills to help them really make their mark once they leave school and go out into the real world. This project incorporates opportunities for girls to be confident and strong young women to deal with Girls Leadership Project.

The Girls Leadership Project is incorporated in all aspects, not only in the classroom, but also in sports and extracurricular activities at Miss Hall’s School.

Girls also learn what is referred to as the Core Competencies. These are vision, voice, interpersonal efficacy, and gumption. Girls are taught to look for opportunities, lead by example, listen to and inspire others. The school teaches that by learning these things, all young women can become leaders.

The Girls Leadership Project also incorporates special projects so students can work on their leadership skills. Some of these projects include volunteer opportunities and internships. Students are also encouraged to raise awareness for causes they find important. All programs are geared to helping young women reach their potential and be successful after graduating from Miss Hall’s School.

Students have a wide variety of programs and have the chance to interact with people from all around the world for Girls Leadership Project While some students go there daily, the majority of girls live there as well. Just over 214 students attend. They come from all around the country and around the world. The students represent 26 different countries. Although the tuition can be pricey, there is financial aid available. About half of the students get some kind of aid to take part in Girls Leadership Project.

All of the students go on to college. Yale, Cornell, Harvard, and Duke are just a few of the many well-known universities where Miss Hall’s School students attend.
