Why Laxmi Is My Girl in 2013

Laxmi, according to everyone's fave, Wikipedia, (Sanskrit: लक्ष्मी lakṣmī, Hindi pronunciation: [ˈləkʃmi]) is the Hindu goddess of wealth, prosperity (both material and spiritual), fortune, and the embodiment of beauty. She is the consort of the god Vishnu. Also called Mahalaxmi, she is said to bring good luck and is believed to protect her devotees from all kinds of misery and money-related sorrows.

What Can Laxmi Do For You In 2013?

Laxmi can do a lot for you in 2013. She is ready to help you enjoy spiritual and material wealth as well as beauty.

The Hindu gods and goddesses are not afraid of money, beauty or sensuality all mixed up together with spirituality. As a yoga teacher certified in the Iyengar tradition, I, COLIBRI, love this!

In 2013, I love mashing up my online marketing expertise with my yoga expertise to make it one of my most beautiful and prosperous years ever.

What COLIBRI Wants In 2013

Here is what I, COLIBRI, want in 2013:

  • Health
  • Happy, healthy children
  • Great relationships with friends, family, clients and colleagues
  • To launch my first e-commerce site
  • To launch a French e-commerce site
  • To coach brilliant and beautiful women who want to become tech savvy
  • To motivate young (and older!) women to pursue STEM careers through personal appearances at schools and clubs
  • To learn more about creating videos and infographics
  • To publish an e-book
  • To continue blogging and writing up a storm! and
  • To make piles of money like the piles you see in front of Laxmi herself

Because Laxmi is so generous, I know she'll support me in getting all of this and more. However, like the Greek and Roman gods, Laxmi can be cranky and tricky if you don't respect her through spiritual practice, personal effort and gratitude.

Dear Laxmi, In 2013, I plan to do my best to make my own dreams come true and help others make theirs come true as well.
