Tell us about your product or service.
Lipstick Killers Collection is the first clothing brand developed by BGC, Inc. which was established in 2005. The LKC brand launched in 2009 with one purpose, to dress the women of today with fearless fashion. The Lipstick Killers Collection has since participated in several fashion shows throughout the east coast from New York to Atlanta, which is where the business is located. Lipstick Killers Collection has also featured in several popular fashion blogs and currently designs for several celebrities and its brand ambassador.
Items include dresses, t shirts, and accessories all hand made in the USA with the finest imported fabrics.
Our mission is to make 1 woman happy a day with a dress that boosts confidence and inner beauty. At that point, she can take over the world and face her fears by making a statement. There’s no fear in fashion, love, and life and our customers embrace that.

What inspired you to launch your business?
As a fan of all genres of music, I came across a Hip Hop song called Killer Lipstick by Ghostface. It was a story about women who were assassins that did whatever they could but under the radar, disguised by their beauty. Although I was already in the business as a online retailer, this song inspired me to develop my first brand called Lipstick Killers Collection.

What problem does your business or organization solve?
My business solved the problem of everyone woman looking to be desired, to change their look completely from day to night. Its a collection that demands attention not only to the garment, but to the powerful, strong queen inside of it. My clothes boost confidence and increase the inner seduction in women without sacrificing class. Its a lifestyle change!

What has been your biggest challenge and how are you working to overcome it?
My biggest challenge has been funding, marketing, and finding the manufacturer locally. I am overcoming these challenges by working on my credit, making endless sacrifices through networking, gaining spiritual enlightenment, and managing my time. I have realized that in order for me to develop spiritually and in business, I need to think outside of the box and be creative and fearless.

How has Project Eve helped you and/or your business?
I have just joined the community and therefore do not have any results thus far. However, I firmly believe I can connect with my fellow queens here and together, we can change the world.

Give us an insider tip that relates to your industry.
Never give up, be strong and passionate, be professional at all times, and do not let anyone take advantage of you. In fashion, you learn from your experiences. Business is ever changing and has no rules. The game is played constantly and you have to plan, develop, engage, and be consistent.
