Beat Winter Itch and Heal Dry Skin #Vaseline

For me, dry, itchy skin season starts in mid-November and lasts until at least May. When I was little, I was itchy. Maybe I was also a little flaky. Annoying, but I could manage. Then something changed. In my twenties depending on varying levels of stress, air travel, and ambient weather conditions the itchiness and dry patches became a lot more severe. This has lead me to try just about every OTC product known to man. Then I tried many others that seem a lot more like something a witch doctor brewed up for me. The stuff the doctor prescribes can work, but it takes a while to kick in and doesn’t work as a preventative step. I want my ounce of prevention to be easy to acquire, reasonably priced and readily available.

With that in mind, I was thrilled to be asked to test out the NEW Vaseline® Intensive Care™ Healing Serum line. Serums are more widely known for providing advanced benefits in face and hair care. Vaseline’s® new serums are now available for all-over body care to moisturize and heal dry, damaged skin and are readily available at drugstores and mass retailers nationwide for just $7.99. In addition, Vaseline® Intensive CareTM Healing Serums provide dry skin with 10x the healing power* to reverse dry skin damage. (*Moisturizes to visibly heal dry skin by 10x over time).

The NEW Vaseline® Intensive Care™ Healing Serum line is available in 3 new variants:

–Advanced Relief – moisturizes to heal and calm severely dry skin

–Radiance Restore – moisturizes to heal and restore radiance to dry, dull skin

–Deep Repair – Deeply moisturizes to heal rough, cracked skin

I, unfortunately, suffer from each one of theses issues and was eager to try out the three different formulas. Right from the start I could tell these products were keepers for several reasons: 1)They absorbed into my skin readily without a greasy sheen that makes you nervous about getting dressed. 2)They soothed the dry, irritated itch that seems to go deeper than my skin. 3) Visually my skin seemed less red and cracked almost immediately. With such immediate relief, I am super excited to see the improvements that result from continued use.

It is also great to know that continued use don’t require special long distance trips or break the bank since all the NEW Vaseline® Intensive Care™ Healing Serums can be used daily all over body and are available at food, drug and mass retailers nationwide for $7.99. Since I frequently get on planes that make my skin as dry as dust, I’m sticking a tube in my toiletry bag, so it’s all ready to go. Of course, it is also great to know I can just swing by the nearest drug store to restock if that spare tube stands up and walks on out of my bag before the trip!

Insider tip: My favorite time to use these new serums is to slather them on when exiting from a nice warm bath! The serum makes me feel like its trapping in some of the moisture and my bath is lasting a little longer!
