Young girls need to learn that an entrepreneur named Coco Chanel was creating a fashion empire in France in the late 1800’s, and that Amelia Earhart was not only an aviator, but an author and entrepreneur. Did you know Earhart created her own line of casual clothing that was sold in department stores in the late 1920’s. This timeline shows some of the women in history who inspired me, paving the way to my independence as a woman entrepreneur.
