Courtside Assist - The iPhone App Coaches Won't Be Able to Live Without

Tell us about your entrepreneurial product or service?
Courtside Assist is an iPhone app for basketball coaches that allows them to develop training plans on the go. It also allows them to easily contact their players via SMS or email, as well as emailing them training plans to whoever they choose.

What inspired you to launch your business idea?
Was trying to find something similar last year on the App Store and couldn’t find anything. Contacted several high profile basketball coaches who were using MS Word templates and finding it quite cumbersome.

What problem does your business or organization solve?
Allows coaches to save time when devising their training plan.

What has been your biggest challenge as an entrepreneur and how are you working to overcome it?
Marketing and general business day to day activities that I would not otherwise know from previous employment. Have had a few people provide much valued advice and am learning as I go.

Give us one word that people might use to describe you.

How has Project Eve helped you and/or your business?
It’s been a godsend to be honest. There has been so much helpful information regarding marketing, branding, how to use social media to your benefit.

Give us an insider tip that relates to your industry.
Do your research, and then when you think you’ve done enough get back out there and research again so you have a clear idea of your concept before you begin to put it into action.
