My Startup Story
Tell us about your product or service.
I Started GTechDesigns 6 years ago to help business owners build six-figure brands, grow their web strategy and teach them the keys to a successful and operational presence.
The company has grown since then and some of the services we provide are: Branding, Graphic Design, Websites and E-commerce Platforms, Mobile Apps, Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Optimization and Inbound Marketing solutions. We focus on creating profitable brands and a strong presence for our clients so they can focus on getting more business.
What inspired you to launch your business?
I worked for a design and marketing firm for a few years and I always felt accomplished after helping a client build their brand and online presence. I continued doing this for friends and family because I had great passion for it and I saw how much people appreciated the knowledge I shared with them. And here we are today with GTechDesigns.
What problem does your business or organization solve?
Whether you need a fresh new visual design, better interaction with your target audience, or a custom application for your business operations, we’re here to help. Most people understand certain aspects of their business’s online presence, but we’re here to help fully guide you on the complete process of having a profitable brand and online presence.
Our team of experts listen, advise, and guide you through the complete process. We build your solution from the ground up, or we start by focusing on one specific, immediate need such as a Web design strategy, design refresh, expert review, usability testing, SEO or social networking assistance.
What has been your biggest challenge and how are you working to overcome it?
In April of 2009, while pregnant with my second son, I lost my job right after my maternity leave due to the recession. I was afraid and unsure about my next steps.
My biggest challenge by far was finding the courage to take my business seriously and begin running it as a business and not a hobby. I was able to overcome my challenge with the help of family and my fear of failure. I hated failure so much that it fueled my drive to succeed.

How has Project Eve helped you and/or your business?
Contributing to Project Eve is also a great way to extend my goal of helping others; by posting on this site, I know that I am making a difference in the lives of so many strong and motivated women.
Project Eve has also been a boon to our business because we’ve received so much support from the community in terms of women both looking for advice, and requiring our comprehensive services.
