Easy Healthy Snack for Working Women

It's as good as it looks!This will be short, but I can’t help but share this! On my Facebook page I posted a recipe for a healthy snack dip I wanted to try. So as I packed my lunch this morning I decided I would just whip it up (yes, it’s that easy) and take it to work with me today. Well, I held out until 11:15 to try it – actually at 10:15 I made myself go workout so that I wouldn’t just eat my entire lunch right then. Well, this simple little dip is OVER THE TOP good! I did change it a little from the recipe I posted that came from PopSugar. Here is what I did and how easy it was.

4 oz of Fage Total 0%
1 Tablespoon Roasted Almond Butter
1/2 Tablespoon of Agave Nectar
Sprinkle of Pumpkin Pie Spice (yes, I am still out of Cinnamon, but this IS the perfect flavor!)
Briskly blend Almond Butter, spices and Agave until evenly mixed

I entered it into My Fitness Pal (an online food tracking device, very user friendly!) and got the nutritional information below. Now, you could exhibit some self control and make this into 2 servings, but that seems silly to me so I listed it as 1 serving.

Total Calories= 195, Carbs=16, Fat=8, Protein=18, Sugar=14

The original recipe used Peanut Butter, rather than Almond Butter and Honey in place of Agave. Obviously there is lots of room to customize this to your very own. I ate it with apple slices, but any kind of fruit would be perfect! I am seriously going to eat this every day!
