While it may seem easier to pop a donut or sugary snack when you’re feeling sluggish, think again. What you put in your body may help you survive without sleep. So, instead of that piece of cake, opt for an apple or other healthy snack. While the apple does have sugar, it isn’t nearly as much as you would find in a donut or piece of cake.
