As many of you may already know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This annual campaign is held every October with the goal of increasing awareness of this terrible disease that remains the 2nd leading cause of death among women.
To bring awareness to breast cancer, many local, state, and national events are held across the country and worldwide. I am sure you have all seen the pink that splashes over the NFL during October, and the numerous walks, fundraisers, and events including the National wear pink day happening on October 21st.
