KoffeeKlatch is an informal way to entrepreneurs to discuss and plan the people side of owner led businesses

Free telephone Conversations, downloads, email updates and additional one to one fixed fee coaching and planning sessesions – all designed to help the growing buisness keep growing without imposing rigid and inappropriate systems.

What inspired you to launch your business idea?
There are about 5m small businesses in the UK and about 2.5m unemployed people.

Business owners need to confidence and skills to know when and how to pay people (and make a profit on it). Without that, no government scheme or subsidy will have a long term effect.

We focus so much on compliance, we are forgetting what why a boss might take someone on and what they need to know, to make a go of it.

Using more than 30 years of being a boss, being a working mum, and helping other organisations sort out the people side of their businesses made me want to reach out to entrepreneurs during this recession and help them.

What problem does your business or organization solve?
We aim to provide that value and help the boss work out how to get what she is paying other people to do.

If you have ever worked late because the person you paid (even a sub-contractor) let you down, or paid osmeone to do something and then did it over again yourself – you know what I mean.

What has been your biggest challenge as an entrepreneur and how are you working to overcome it?
Having enough hours in the day
Creating frameworks so that other people can help me and work to the correct standards – just as I do for my clients.
