We’re busy people and life is full of demands. M is for Monster was created for the busy parent that still wants to spend meaningful time with their child all while having fun and doing something they love to do: learn.
Children acquire skills and can absorb so much in the first five years of their life. There isn’t any one better to teach them than you. But planning and shopping and prepping for activities for them to do is just a daunting task. It takes time to plan out learning activities, time most of us don’t have.
M is for Monster creates 2-3 weekly learning activities, gathers up all the supplies you will need, boxes them up and mails them right to your door every month! It’s as simple as that! Just pull out an activity for that week, and get going!
M is for Monster takes the stress out of planning educational activities for your child. Now you can sit back, relax and have stress free fun with them. Everything from the planning to shopping is done for you and delivered to your door step.
What inspired you to launch your business?
I started M is for Monster when I was planning activities to do with my own two year old and four year old. After two hours, I finally found what we were going to do that week and went shopping for the supplies. $60 later, I had enough supplies for my kids as well as three others. Not only did it take forever to plan our weekly activities, I was wasting money on supplies we didn’t need. I wanted my kids to learn and have fun but all the stress of planning, prepping and shopping each week was getting old.
There has to be a better way! I searched for other solutions and couldn’t find any. So I decided I was solve the problem for other parents and caregivers out there. I would plan and shop and deliver everything needed for a months worth of activities.
Now you can have stress free fun while teaching your kids things they want to learn about!
What problem does your business or organization solve?
We eliminate the planning and prepping process of doing activities with your preschooler. We also save money but only providing what you need for the activities instead of having to buy things in bulk and having all these extra supplies lying around taking up space.
What has been your biggest challenge and how are you working to overcome it?

Give us an insider tip that relates to your industry.
Know your audience. Obviously, 2-5 year olds can’t read, so step back and think about what they can do, or what they are capable of.
