Startup Stories: Red Rock Mountain BPO

Tell us about your product or service.
We have a two-fold organization. We started out as a BPO Services company that evolved into something else. So, first and foremost, we offer business process outsourcing in areas such as: accounting, web design, call center services, and virtual assistant services (along with many more!). The other core part of our business is coaching small businesses and entrepreneurs. In October, we’ll be rolling out our Entrepreneurial Academy that will help launch and grow businesses.

What inspired you to launch your business?
The business was actually founded by someone else, but when they saw what a knack I had for setting up a business, coming up with a plan, and successfully executing it, he’s just sort of let me have the reins. So I really wish to focus on the Entrepreneurial Academy part of the business because I believe it will have the most impact.

What problem does your business or organization solve?
What sort of business do I start? How do I come up with a brand? How do I develop an amazing site? What social media options are there? How do I drive traffic to my pages? How do I save money on my business?

What has been your biggest challenge and how are you working to overcome it?
My biggest challenge has been learning so many new things so quickly. I never knew social media had grown so much since I was actively thrown into it the last time for business purposes. I used to think of it as more of an obligation, but I’m becoming more and more fascinated about how social media integrates into business. I’m getting every free ebook, webinar, and blog I can to learn. I’m constantly learning.

How has Project Eve helped you and/or your business?
This is an incredible community to share ideas and get exposure. In my short time on Twitter I’ve seen my following grow just because Project Eve decided to follow me. I’m so excited to continue to work with them.

Give us an insider tip that relates to your industry.
If you’re finding social media a headache, use tools like Grosocial or HootSuite. I personally use HootSuite to manage my social media accounts. I set my postings for the day and they publish based on when I set them.
