My husband and I write a travel blog about road trips, pet-friendly travel, and international travel. We offer tips and advise on travel and are leading a small revolution in getting people to take more time off to enjoy life and see the world.

What inspired you to launch your business?
After years of working in retail and a poor work/life balance we decided we’d had enough. A change was necessary to save both our quality of life and our marriage. We walked away from our careers, a steady paycheck, and the rat race. We took two adults, two dogs, two duffel bags and one Volkswagen GTI and hit the road for the classic American road trip. We set a goal of driving from Miami, FL to Seattle,WA and back in 30 days. Along our trip we visited friends and family, saw amazing sites, and had a ton of awesome adventures. We slept in the car, at pet-friendly hotels and at the occasional relative’s home. We had a loose schedule and even looser plans, we set out to enjoy the journey despite the destination. Along the way our trip transformed us and became something larger; it became a reason for us to start dreaming again. Once the dream set in we started believing, believing in a life where a husband and wife can be side by side living their dreams together of traveling the American roads and seeking out new adventures.
We know there are more people out there like us. People who enjoy travels and adventures more than stuffy offices and 60-hour work weeks. Whether your just taking a break from your regular 9-5, entering a new stage in life, or going off the grid completely, we want to encourage people to reach for and live their dreams.
With that being said, kick back, take a read, and ramble on….

What problem does your business or organization solve?
We help people plan their vacations. We encourage people to take time off and see the world, even if it is in baby steps.

What has been your biggest challenge and how are you working to overcome it?
Starting a new blog is tough. You need big numbers to get advertising, but as a true start-up, we started from the ground and are building our numbers organically. No paid subscribers on our list :)

Give us one word that people might use to describe you.

  12. Thanks a lot for the helpful content. It is also my belief that mesothelioma cancer has an really long latency phase, which means that indication of the disease might not emerge until 30 to 50 years after the primary exposure to mesothelioma. Pleural mesothelioma, and that is the most common type and has an effect on the area throughout the lungs, could potentially cause shortness of breath, torso pains, plus a persistent coughing, which may bring about coughing up blood vessels.

  13. Thanks , I have just been searching for info about this topic for ages and yours is the best I’ve discovered till now. But, what about the conclusion? Are you sure about the source?
