3 Tips to Get the Results You Want from Your Business

You want to create wealth, right?

You want to live a life that matters and leave behind some kind of a legacy for those that follow you, right?

And yet, you woke up this morning and frankly, the idea of churning out another blog post, another sales page, speaking to another prospect who may or may not buy is just about the last thing you want to do.

You have worked hard over the last few days, weeks, months, years and yet the result is still nowhere near where you imagined it would be by now and frankly, you are tired and fed up.

Fed up of getting up and doing it all again.

This business you created is now becoming something of a chain around your neck and it would seem so much easier if you could just quit it right about now.

But you can’t because in some ways, you feel trapped…

You cannot go back to that old job – That would be too tedious!

You cannot go and find another job though some days, you are tempted to do just that. You are, after all, pretty skilled and would probably find a job, just like that.

However, that would be admitting defeat and your ego will not allow it… At least, not yet.

So, what can you do?

What can you do when you are pretty tired of the daily grind that is involved in starting up a business that is supposedly going to make you free sometime soon?

  1. Never allow yourself to quit

So many set up shop each day, each week, each month and yet, not many are left going after the initial period because they were convinced it would be easy and as soon as they exhaust their family and friends, they run out of ideas for creating a bigger audience for their products or service. Do not join this number – Instead, decide right now, that you will never quit. And also…

  2. Learn what you need to know about sales and marketing.

As mentioned already, lots of people go into business thinking that because they are skilled at their service or product, then the customers will come. It is not true! You need to increase your ability to market what you do or else, you will be out of business before you know it.

  3. Be committed to the process

It is lovely to have goals. And yet, you can get so caught up in them that you forget that there is a process that you must go through consistently in order to make them happen. By all means, write out your goals and look at them regularly to motivate yourself to keep moving forward. However, can I encourage you to break down your business to the minimal activities that you must consistently do in order to generate a result.

And then, regardless of how you feel on any given day, can you do those one-to-three items every day first before the emails, social media check-ins, children’s needs (yes, you may have to wake up early)

You need to know that regardless of what you feel, your business is moving forward. And when you get that certainty that you are still doing what counts, it is only a matter of time before you see the goals come alive.
